Preparing to move from one city to another increases stress levels. How much? According to an unreliable news source (email) “The pictures attached are used to test the level of stress a person can handle. The slower the pictures move, the better your ability of handling stress. Alleged criminals that were tested see them spinning around madly; however, senior citizens and kids see them standing still.”

None of these images are animated - they are perfectly still.

The picture (above) is not moving yet most people can see them ripple You’ve probably seen similar optical illusion tricks before *(surely you remember this one:

Akiyoshi KITAOKA, Professor, Department of Psychology, Ritsumeikan University, Kyoto, Japan has designed dozens of visual illusions, optical tests and patterns galore, and is kind enough to provide the warning that looking at these may make you dizzy. But they can also heal your mind, faster and cheaper than drinking.

I would think I was fairly non-stressed but those buggars are bouncing around like mad!

Shows I need to relax more…okay, ready? GO!
    Relax, relax, relax
    Relax, relax, relax
    Relax, relax, relax
    Relax, relax, relax

    okay done!

hey, everything is constantly shifting. the pictures moved very slow, which surprised me, somehow. moving has become a way of life, anymore. breathe a lot and be distracted.
    have some sushi, or something.

Nothing! I stared and stared, and not one of the pictures is moving. That means I’m not stressed? What about the stress induced because I don’t see anything at all besides a bunch of colorful dots? Do they really move? Its like trying to see the sailboat in Mallrats…I’m so frustrated.

What does it mean if after looking at those things everything you look at is rippling, and the room is shifting, and you happen to be lying on the floor with your hands covering your eyes to make it all stop?
